Меткость заклинаний

Меткость заклинаний позволяет чаще поражать цель заклинаниями и значительно усиливает исходящий урон. Эта характеристика часто встречается на экипировке с интеллектом. Предельное значение меткости заклинаний определяется по уровню противника:

Противник равного уровня — 4%.
Противник выше по уровню на 1 — 5%.
Противник выше по уровню на 2 — 6%.
Противник выше по уровню на 3 — 17%.

Сила заклинаний

Сила заклинаний позволяет наносить больше урона заклинаниями.

Множитель урона для конкретного заклинания можно вычислить, разделив время чтения на 3,5, так как заклинание с временем чтения 3,5 сек. получает бонус 100%. К примеру, если у вас есть 20 ед. силы заклинаний от экипировки, они повлияют на ваши заклинания следующим образом:

Classic Feral DPS Druid PvP Abilities

Shapeshifts

Dire Bear Form: This will be your tank form, it provides you with a 360% armor increased, a boost to your health, and access to a variety of bear-only abilities.
Cat Form: This form mimics the playstyle of a dagger-rogue, you have a very fast attack speed, a bonus to your attack power, and access to a variety of cat-only abilities.
Travel Form: Travel Form increases your movement speed by 40%, it’s only usable while outdoors and you can’t cast any spells in this form, but you’re quite fast.
Aquatic Form: Similar to travel form, this one increases your swim speed by 50%, it’s only usable while in water, and you can’t cast any spells in this form.
Moonkin Form: Moonkin form is the 31 point Balance talent, it increases you and your party member’s spell crit by 3% as well as gives you a 360% armor increase. It’s also important to note that you can only use Balance spells in this form.

Classic Feral DPS Druid Offensive Abilities

Maul: This is going to be your main ability as a bear, and it is going to be the key to your threat generation.
Swipe: This is another bear form ability that swipes up to 3 enemies in front of you.
Claw: This ability is one of your combo point generators as a cat.
Shred: A powerful attack that can only be used behind your target, requires cat form. This ability generates combo points.
Rake: An attack that deals initial damage and applies a DoT, generates one combo point.
Ravage: This is the cat form version of Ambush, you must be stealthed and behind your character.
Rip: One of your finish moves in cat form; this applies a DoT that power grows with each combo point you spend.
Ferocious Bite: Another finishing move for cat form; it does high damage and increases based on how many combo points you spend.
Wrath: In caster form, this is your quick cast and spammable ability, it’s the spell you begin with at level 1 when you first log into your druid.
Moonfire: An instant cast spell that deals initial damage and applies a DoT.
Starfire: A long cast time spell that does high burst damage.
Insect Swarm: The 11 point restoration talent is an instant cast DoT attached to a 2% hit reduction.
Hurricane: The former 31 point Balance talent is quite good; it is a channeled spell that summons a storm that does massive AoE damage to enemies in the targeted area.

Classic Feral DPS Druid Defensive Abilities

Barkskin: This ability reduces incoming physical damage and makes you immune to pushback. Unfortunately, you can’t cast this in shapeshift form so you’ll have to use it as a bear tank preemptively.
Nature’s Grasp: Nature’s Grasp puts a buff on you that will be consumed when someone damages you and applies an appropriate rank of entangling roots to them.
Demoralizing Roar: A roar that reduces nearby enemies’ attack power.

Classic Feral DPS Druid Utility Abilities

Gift of the Wild: This is your class-specific buff, it can be improved by talents.
Thorns: This short-duration buff will reflect damage to enemies who attack you; it is quite useful for generating threat.
Omen of Clarity: This 11 point Balance talent is great for Feral Druids; it gives your auto attacks a chance to proc free abilities.
Remove Curse: Druids are one of the few classes that can dispel curses.
Abolish Poison: Abolish poison applies a buff that cleanses poisons over time.
Rebirth: In Classic World of Warcraft Druids are the only Class with a battle-res, although warlocks can preemptively Soulstone an ally.
Entangling Roots: This ability allows you to root someone in place, great for PVP and even can be used to CC mobs in a dungeon.
Faerie Fire: Faerie Fire is one of the best armor debuffs in the game, making having one druid in your raid very valuable. For PVP, it also prevents stealth and invisibility.
Challenging Roar: Forces all nearby enemies to attack you for a short duration.
Growl: This is the bear version of Taunt.
Soothe Animal: This ability is a beneficial utility spell; it allows you to skip certain mobs in dungeons and even raids.
Bash: A bear form stun; talents can increase the duration of the stun.
Innervate: Innervate is one of Druid’s most iconic abilities; it will greatly increase the mana regeneration of whoever you give it to.

Decent Guide. I’m not sure it’s really necessary to crap on druids about not using windfury for threat in a pvp guide though considering there are other direct benefits to having a shaman in your group in pvp that help druids like tremor totem as an easy example since you mention Paladins and blessing of freedom helping druids carrying flags in pvp but make no mention of the pvp benefits of being horde.

I thought hot bonus you needed in pvp was 3%, not 5%. Also, this guide doesn’t really cover much of anything as far as pvp strats. This is basically just a spreadsheet of druid abilities and professions.

I don’t see what makes this a «feral dps guide» or a good feral dps guide at that. There’s nothing explaining the cat rotation, and the talents don’t make any sense: The armor bonus from Thick Hide is not useful for pvp as you will be switching forms constantly. This build misses out on all the really useful feral talents later in the tree like Predatory Strikes, Blood Frenzy and Faerie Fire. Most importantly, this build misses out on Heart of the Wild, which is a huge buff to EVERY form, and even healing, with the potential to increase your mana pool by up to 20%. This would also increase the # of times you can shape-shift which I repeat, you do constantly in pvp. Imp Nature’s Grasp and Natural Shapeshifter are OK for a cat-specific build, but in general those points are better spent in the feral tree. Nature’s Grasp will only save your ass against 1 opponent, which is great for duels and open world survival, but not so much BGs. Finally, you should only be investing enough points in the Restoration tree to get Nature’s Swiftness, Gift of Nature and Swiftmend are useless spells; Gift of Nature costs too many points to only increases your healing by about 5% (does not scale with SP), and Swiftmend (while it’s attractive if ALL you want to do is heal) costs too much mana. It first requiring you to cast Regrowth or Rejuv, the former of which you would mainly use as a pre-HoT before a fight, and requires you to use Nature’s Swiftness if this is a «save ass» kind of situation. So two global cool-downs and 580/1120 mana for a heal roughly equivalent to one rank 7 or rank 10 Healing Touch (IF it includes full duration of the HoT. If you have to use it before the HoT expires it’s costing even more mana), when you can just macro NS with max rank Healing Touch, heal for 2200+hp and NO GLOBAL COOLDOWN.Druids are never asked to «just heal» in PVP. We are flag carriers, base defenders, destroyers of mages, rogues, warriors, and hunters. And yes, I will support my comrades with some heals if they are in need, but going full Resto is a mistake unless you’re at the top of the skill floor, which most people aren’tAgain, this is titled «feral druid pvp dps guide» but it doesn’t cover things like power-shifting, and the two items every druid should have feral or otherwise, Wolfshead Helm and Manual Crowd Pummeler. These are easy to obtain, mandatory for cat dps in raids and extremely useful for pvp. I realize that you have written other guides that do talk about these items, but then there’s no reason for this guide to be separate from those, and it should really be a HotW build, not a pure Resto build. And saying things like horde druids are bad because they don’t benefit from Windfury makes no sense because Manual Crowd Pummeler is quite literally an on-use Windfury that lasts for 30 seconds and can be used as many times as you want during a fight to build threat more quickly for pull and tank swaps. Feral druids don’t have issues with threat otherwise.

В боях с 1-2 целями Кирии немного хуже Ночного народца, но заметно вырываются вперед, как только целей становится больше. Ночной народец в боях против одной цели может быть лучше на 6%, но это преимущество быстро теряется с увеличением противников.

Когда выбирать ковенант Кирий

Для пве баланс друида Кирии являются наиболее универсальным выбором среди всех ковенантов. Кирии дают совуху способность Родственные души, которая может увеличить урон вплоть до 15% для друида и его союзника.

How to Gear Your Druid for Classic WoW PvP

Healing Set — This set is probably the easiest and most common set to make especially since Druids have very little competition in raids, you can simply put together all of your Кенарийские одеяния and Одеяния Ярости Бури pieces and you’ll have an incredibly good PVP Set.
«Boomkin» Set — Second to the «Healing Set», this is probably the easiest collection of gear for you to collect. You can pair a few of your Tier 1 pieces and equip other low-priority items from raid such as Колье Озарения and Волшебный кинжал to round out your set.
«Feral Tank» Set — This set can mostly be used in situations where you need to be incredibly durable, one example of this would be while carrying the flag in Warsong Gulch. Another example would be using this set in order to tank the warmasters in Alterac Valley. For this set you’ll be looking for gear that has a lot of «bonus» armor in the item budget, along with stamina, to make you as tanky as possible.
«Feral DPS» Set — This set is similar to what you’d wear in PVE but, you’ll want to work stamina into your stat priority to make sure that you aren’t just a glass cannon cat. This set is probably the least viable of the four since it has a much smaller toolkit and is used in fewer situations than the other sets.

In the quick Feral Build it says on level 35 you should take Тайфун … Thats not a talent anymore. Also PvP-Talents are not updated. The info about savage roar refers to 10% damage buff, whilst on live is 15%

As of 12/16/2020, this guide could use a couple of updates. The rotation tool still has Wild Fleshrending as a thing. I heard the feral discord has a different recommended opener, something like: prowl; rake; BS to 3 CP; TF/Berserk; shred; rip; convoke — but does that trigger bloodtalons? With no-crit luck, it would take rake + BS + (small pause to see if rake or first BS crit and note that it didn’t) + BS + TF/Berserk + Shred. That is 5 or 6 key presses (time to macro TF into Berserk again), I guess that can be done in 4 seconds.A lot of raiding ferals are using Heart of the Wild according to wowhead’s talent calculator so I came here to see how to use it but that isn’t really addressed. I haven’t played balance much so I could really use some guidance. Are people using it for its 5 minute CD and if so, when do they use it and what do they cast? Are there moonkin abilties used outside of that CD?

Hey I think that 2 points in Carnivorous Instinct is worth more than Feral Frenzy, as it has an uptime of almost 100% in M+ and gives you a permanent 12% dmg boost. Feral Frenzy will not account for 12% overall dmg in Dungeons. I’m not really sure why Tear Open Wounds is taken if Primal Wrath isn’t taken; why not Taste for Blood for Single Target?Why the hard need for innervate(for keys). Is the loss of a decurse/stun worth an innervate? Most seasonal affixes replenish healer’s mana, so it’s just a matter of…what’s the science behind it?
