Action bars presented in the default Blizzard interface are one of the most outdated parts of the interface – they lack much-needed information and customization options Let’s see what can be done about that.

Bartender 4

Gives you full control over all 10 action bars and related bars, such as stance, pet, bag, and XP bars. You can customize their position, size, transparency, and easily bind Hotkeys using the KeyBound.

You can open the configuration using command /bt or /bartender. To use the KeyBound and setup your keybindings, type /kb and hover your mouse over a button, press the keyboard, and it’s done!

MoveAnything

The name speaks for itself. It’s a great tool to adjust absolutely all of the UI elements. Unlimited power over action bars, portraits, minimap, and everything else out there. You can move, scale, hide, or adjust the transparency of any element. To access the main settings window, type /move.

OmniCC

Size matters not. Look at this addon. Judge it by its size, do you? Like Master Yoda, the addon is small but extremely effective. The main function is adding text to the icons on your action bar, allowing you to see cooldowns on your abilities shown in numbers. Highly customizable, you can get very precise numbers, down to milliseconds. With the OmniCC you will always know for sure when your abilities will be ready to use!

Decursive key benefits

Ease of use:
- Decursive supports all classes with cleansing abilities and configures itself automatically,it works straight out of the box, no configuration is required.
- Intuitive interface and detailed options, Decursive is suitable for simple usage and power users.
Control what and who you want to dispel:
- Easily Filter out afflictions you don’t want to cure or that are useless to remove by class (some are pre-configured).
  (Such as afflictions affecting mana on non-mana classes, etc…).
- Choose between what you can dispel (magic, curses, poison, diseases, charms) choosing their priority.
  (this allows you to share the cleansing work with other players effectively)
- Prioritize or exclude members.
  (keep players, classes, or raid groups in a specific order to cleanse them in order of importance)
Manage Mind controlled units:
- If you are a Mage, a Druid or a Shaman you can Polymorph/Cyclone/Hex mind-controlled players.
- In any case Decursive will allow you to target mind controlled units easily.
- Decursive supports magic charming affect removal for Shamans (Purge and Hex), Priests (Dispel Magic),
  Hunters (Tranquilizing Shot), and Warlocks (Fellhunter and Doomguards spells).
Don’t waste time:
- Your cleansing spell Cooldown is displayed to maximize your dispel speed.
- An automatic blacklist will prevent you from loosing time on players who can’t be dispelled.
  (player ‘out of line of sight’ for example).
- Decursive choose a logical cleansing order depending on your current position in the raid.
  (preventing dispel concurrence between players and thus ‘nothing to dispel’ messages)
React faster:
- Visual and/or auditive alerts when someone needs your attention and can be dispelled.
- Special sound alert when Unstable Affliction is detected and you’re about to dispel it.
- Visual and auditive alert when your dispel attempts are resisted or fail.
Integration in any interface:
- Decursive is designed to save screen real estate and to be forgotten when not needed.
- Many options allow you to customize Decursive appearance and interface behavior.
- All Decursive alert colors can be modified making it suitable for color-blind people.
Highly optimized and effective coding:
- Decursive was developed with memory and CPU usage in mind, installing Decursive won’t affect your frame rate even in the worst battle conditions.
- Bug free: bugs are not tolerated in Decursive.

How to Install WoW addons

To install the addon, just download it from the website and unpack it into the folder “Folder with the game \Interface\ Addons”. Or you may use specific programs, that download, unpack and update addons automatically, for example, Curseforge.

After that, go into the game and click the “Modifications” button in the character selection window. A list of all the addons you have installed will appear. In this window, you can turn on and off the addons you need.

Remember that addons create an additional load on your computer, so if you have a weak computer, we do not advise you to install a large number of addons at once. Try to limit yourself to the most necessary (DBM, Recount, etc.).

In addition, some addons may conflict with each other, especially if they are designed for the same functions.

Best Addons for WoW Classic TBC (The Burning Crusade)

Questie

Undoubtedly the best companion you can have while leveling in Outland. It tracks the location of your quest goals and NPCs, so you won’t ever need to read a single line of dialogue for doing a quest. For those that are into WoW’s lore though, you may end up doing this anyway.

Details – Damage Meter

One of the oldest light-weight addons ever created. Others may have risen first, doing the same thing, but Details has earned its spot as the best among them. An addon that shows the whole party’s combat data, so you can manage your damage or healing output as needed.

Deadly Boss Mods

Considered to be the most valuable addon out there, Deadly Boss Mods is what every raider needs to have. A pretty much obligatory addition for anyone who plans to get into raiding, DBM informs you of every dangerous ability the enemy Boss will do, what to do to avoid it, and more. Highly customizable as well.

AtlasLoot

We may now have the in-game journal for this feature, but years and years ago, there was nothing like it found within the game. Hence why AtlasLoot is a necessity, so you can track down all the loot you want to chase and farm from dungeons, raids and more. It also has some extra goodies implemented, so feel free to mess around with it.

Auctionator

While this addon can actually be skipped for those that don’t mess with the Auction House a lot, it’s actually invaluable for those that do. The feature’s UI is kind of outdated and junky, so Auctionator changes it to what what it really should be, providing a great amount of extra details to, for making the best sales/purchases. If you are planning on making some money, it will be your go-to addon.

Honorable Mentions

ElvUI – Changes the whole WoW UI and interface, to a more modern look. Extremely customizable
Weak Auras – Customize skills, abilities and other macros to your liking
Omnibar (for PvP) – Tracks enemy CDs and CC abilities, so you know when to go all-out
GatherMate 2 – TBC focuses a lot on professions, and GatherMate 2 has everything needed for helping everyone with those exactly

By searching for a while in the extremely extensive list of Addons, you can find a lot that are not included here, but suit your playstyle a lot. Don’t be afraid to experiment, as what we are mentioning here, are simply the must have addons that will give you a boost in any case and make your life easier as you progress in WoW Classic TBC (The Burning Crusade).
